Children inspiring children.
Cook School is on a mission to teach kids about food.
Sustainable cookery campaign
Our new sustainable cookery course for schools, in partnership with Electrolux Food Foundation’s Food Heroes, is designed to help educate about the impact of our food choices, and how each one of us can be part of the solution for a better future. Sign your school up now.
Complete cookery courses
Our easy-to-use Complete Cookery Course for schools guides students step by step through the essential skills of basic cookery – from where their food comes from and good nutrition to ingredient preparation, including knife skills, and how to follow a recipe. Throughout the course children will learn how to make simple, healthy, vegetarian meals for themselves and their families, arming them with important life skills as well as inspiring a love of food.

National vegetarian cook-along 2025
With thanks to our partner Linda McCartney Foods, this June we cooked a new Mary McCartney recipe with over 5,000 secondary schoolchildren. Sign up now to make sure you reserve your school’s place for next year’s cook-along!
Recipe kits
Our kits include the exact ambient ingredients, step-by-step recipe cards, skills cards with QR codes that link to videos of children cooking and a booklet packed with fun facts about the ingredients inside the box. The Cook School recipe kits teach children and students how to cook a delicous, vegetarian meal independently for their families and there are also recipe kits for baking and sweet treats.
